Kraemon doesn't use a generic topic list. Every subject is mapped to its real exam board specification — AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Eduqas, WJEC, or CCEA — and broken down into exactly the topics that appear on your paper.

Mastery, not just coverage

A topic isn't "covered" the first time you revise it. In Kraemon, mastery means you've reviewed a topic at least three times and your last review interval was at least seven days — demonstrating genuine long-term retention, not just short-term recall.

The coverage screen shows this honestly. Green means fully mastered. Amber means in progress. Red means it needs serious attention. These aren't encouraging approximations — they're accurate.

A score of 74 means solid progress but room left. The algorithm weights mastery more heavily — having touched a topic isn't enough.

Subject health: a number that means something

Each subject gets a health score out of 100. It's a composite: 40% from how many topics you've started, and 60% from how many you've genuinely mastered.

This weighting is intentional. Touching every topic once with no depth scores lower than deeply mastering the most important half. The score reflects exam readiness, not just effort.
